What Are You Giving AI Access To?

You wouldn’t give a new employee unrestricted access to company data. Yet, in the rush to adopt AI, it’s easy to give agents more access than their tasks require.

This Cybersecurity Awareness Month, it’s a question worth asking: what can your AI agents see, and what are they allowed to do?

Flowgear’s governed integration platform provides guardrails for AI through defined Workflows that control how it interacts with business systems, the data it uses, and the actions it can take.

Start with a focused use case, review permissions, and monitor activity. These everyday controls help teams explore AI with confidence.

Connectors

October Connector Highlights

This month’s connectors are focused on helping teams connect digital channels, performance insights, and day-to-day work management across the business.

With WordPress, Google Analytics, and ClickUp, Flowgear helps organizations bring website content, engagement data, and project activity into the systems their teams already use. Content, forms, analytics, tasks, and workflow data can move automatically between platforms, giving teams clearer visibility and reducing the need for manual updates. The result is more connected digital operations, more reliable reporting, and smoother collaboration across marketing, sales, and delivery teams.

Content management

WordPress

WordPress powers websites, publishing, and digital content management, helping organisations create, manage, and update online content.

Websites often sit at the centre of customer engagement, but their value depends on content, user, form, and customer data moving smoothly between systems. With the WordPress connector, Flowgear integrates WordPress with CRM, eCommerce, and business systems, syncing content, users, forms, and customer data. Teams can keep website activity connected to the wider business, reduce manual updates, and ensure information stays accurate across platforms.

Analytics

Google Analytics

Google Analytics provides insights into website and app traffic, engagement, and performance, helping businesses understand how users interact with their digital channels.

Analytics data is most useful when it can move into the systems where marketing, sales, and reporting teams already work. With the Google Analytics connector, Flowgear integrates analytics data with CRM, marketing, and reporting platforms, automating analytics data, reporting, and performance tracking. Teams gain clearer visibility into campaign and website performance, reduce manual reporting, and make faster, data-driven decisions.

Work management

ClickUp

ClickUp streamlines project management, tasks, and team collaboration, helping teams plan work, track progress, and manage day-to-day delivery.

Project data often needs to stay aligned with customer, operational, and business systems to keep work moving efficiently. With the ClickUp connector, Flowgear integrates ClickUp with CRM, ERP, and business systems, syncing tasks, projects, users, and workflow data. Teams can reduce duplicate updates, keep project information consistent across platforms, and improve visibility into work as it moves through the business.

Connector updates

Keeping Our Connectors Up to Date

  • More authentication options for HTTP integrations: Added OAuth authorization code with PKCE, plus explicit client-credentials and password-credentials modes, to Web Request, GraphQL Request, OpenAPI REST Request and Webform Post Nodes.
  • More reliable QuickBooks Connections: Improved automatic token renewal to recover from expired credentials and handle concurrent requests more reliably.
  • Clearer SAP Business One troubleshooting: Improved Connection failure messages with meaningful SAP error details, making login problems easier to diagnose.
  • Simpler ServiceChannel data retrieval: Improved automatic paging and returned individual records from supported collection responses, reducing the need to manage paging or unpack response envelopes manually.
  • More flexible ServiceChannel filters: Added named parameters to supported filters and search expressions, making queries easier to reuse with values supplied by a Workflow.
  • Better guidance in ConnectWise PSA templates: Improved field and parameter descriptions in Node templates, bringing provider guidance directly into Workflow configuration; ServiceChannel benefited from the same improvement.
  • Broader API compatibility in OpenAPI REST Request: Updated schema handling to support OpenAPI 3.1 alongside Swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI 3.0, allowing integration with more modern API definitions.
