How the two dials work
Flowgear pricing has exactly two capacity dials and a feature ladder. No per-step billing, no usage meter that surprises you, and every connector is included with no per-connector fees.
Enabled workflows
Configure as many workflow definitions as you want, on every plan. Building is always free and never counts toward a dial.
Concurrent workflows
How many workflows can execute at the same time, a ceiling you choose, never a per-run meter — now doubled on the V2 runtime, from 4 on Build to 100 on Scale. Flowgear pioneered concurrency-based pricing for the integration industry; it's the one capacity metric our customers have run on for 16 years.
Sustained CPU
Your workflows run on dedicated virtual machines, not a sliver of shared infrastructure. We look only at your average CPU across the calendar month, so you get their full speed when you spike and pay nothing for the headroom when you're idle. Pick a band as your ceiling; there are no metered overages, ever — and your full doubled workflow count stays yours while you're in it.
Pricing questions
What exactly is Sustained CPU?
It's your average processing load over a calendar month. Every Flowgear plan reserves dedicated virtual machines just for you, one on Build and more on the larger plans, and Sustained CPU is simply how much of that reserved CPU you use on average. That lets you pick a predictable band matched to your baseline workload rather than your busiest minute.
Why do dedicated machines matter?
Many integration tools run your workflows on a thin, shared sliver of a processor measured in millicores, sometimes as little as 10 millicores (1% of a single core), so you get throttled the moment things get busy. Flowgear reserves whole, dedicated machines for your environment: consistent performance, full isolation, and the headroom to run fast exactly when you need it.
How does a monthly average make pricing fairer?
Integrations spike during batch jobs or busy traffic, then sit idle. Because we average your CPU across the whole month, you get the full speed of your dedicated machines during a spike at no extra cost. And when you're idle, even though we carry the cost of that reserved hardware, you don't pay for the headroom. You pay for what you sustain, never your peaks.
Will I get a surprise bill or metered overages?
No. Flowgear doesn't do variable billing or metered overages. Your band is a chosen ceiling, not a live meter, so the price you pick is the price you pay. You'll never get a surprise invoice for running a heavy integration.
How many concurrent workflows do I get?
The V2 runtime lets us double the concurrent workflows on every plan, at no extra charge — Build is doubled to 4, Team 10, Growth 50, and Scale 100. On the No limit band, the doubled count is simply yours. On a numbered Sustained CPU band, you keep the full doubled count as long as your monthly average stays within the band you picked — the same band that already sets your price. Staying in your tier is all it takes.
What happens if I cross my band?
Nothing breaks mid-month, and there are never overage charges — burst to full speed whenever you like. The one thing tied to your band is the doubled workflow count: if your monthly average sits above your band for a sustained stretch and you choose not to move up, we return to the plan's base workflow count, and we always talk it through with you first, never automatically. Move up a band, or stay on No limit, and the full doubled count is yours. Your CPU is never throttled and your bill never changes without your agreement.
What is the "No limit" band?
At No limit we stop measuring CPU entirely. Your price is set by concurrent workflows alone, the proven metric Flowgear customers have run on for 16 years. The numbered bands simply let you start below the full plan price and grow in, with no pressure to climb.
Is there a free way to start?
Yes. The Build plan is free for the first 90 days, with credit-card signup and no sales call. That's long enough to build real workflows and see your sustained CPU before you commit to a band.
Can a partner deliver this for us?
Yes. Larger programs can be delivered by Flowgear or by an authorized partner. Start with an Integration Assessment.
